Hey Julia, I also type Morning Pages ;) I read the book and I can understand why longhand writing is advisable, but I don't think it's a rule for everybody. There are no rules in Morning Pages. Also, I read a book "Expressive writing" by James Pennebaker and there are actual studies that prove there isn't much difference between writing by hand and typing.
